Kamden's family is so greatly moved by the outpouring of love and support during this incredibly trying time! Thank you for sharing his story and for helping surround this family in tangible ways so that they can focus on Kam's health and recovery!
Over the past few weeks Kam's family noticed something was off - he started walking funny, stumbling all over the place, complaining about headaches & feeling dizzy, and throwing up.
On June 16th he ended up at the ER and underwent an emergency MRI to find out what was going on. The neurology team confirmed the MRI showed a mass in 5-year-old Kamden's brain.
On June 18th, after more evaluation and deliberation, Kamden's family found out that the tumor has has broken off into his spine and due to the size, shape and location of those pieces, Kamden is facing a cancer diagnosis.
On Tuesday, June 22, Kamden will undergo a 10+ hour brain surgery to remove the tumor(s) and get a more clear understanding of what lies ahead.
The first 4 days of recovery from this surgery will be critical. We are asking that everyone storm the gates of heaven for every single detail of this resection and recovery, for the doctors, for the nurses, for the support team, for stamina, for inexplicable peace, for Kamden's family, and most of all for our precious warrior, Kam!
Every dollar is going toward Kamden's care and there is a secure account set up for this purpose. We cannot thank everyone enough for rallying around the Jones and Warembourg families.
